today was my birthday

and although i don’t live in the same city as my boy, i’m glad i had him to talk to throughout the day.

so even though we missed each other a lot and the birthday would have been much better had we been together, we’ll make it up the next time we see each other and he was careful not to be too sentimental about the fact that we weren’t together this year so as not to make me more sad… :)
